I am a Web / Graphic Designer living in Mumbai, India. I have completed my graduation in BCA (Bachelor's in Computer Applications) with distinction. In late 2011 I have started my journey as a Web Developer in a service based start-up. Initially I used to be involved in an entire process of project developement from Front-End developement to Back-End, but as I explored web developement I found designing more interesting than server-side developement. After a year I decided to immerse myself into Front-End developement. I joined a multi-national company as a front-end developer with more specific skillset. As years passed by my interest started growing towards design so I started freelancing in my spare time to gain experience on different industry products.
Currently I hold around 11 Years of relevant experience in web and graphic designing and my expertise involves Web Layouts, Logos, Mobile Applications, Web Applications, etc.
Working on Big Data applications to create cutting edge user experience from the scratch. Responsible for end to end design process including Features Segregation, Usability Research, Competitive Analysis, Wire-frames, Prototypes, Usability Testing, Information Architecture, Flow Charts, etc. Managed the design team and led the creative direction for all projects. Involved in direct interaction with Clients and Product Managers to understand design briefs to pitch concepts that would meet business requirement. Create approved requirements into GUI, Prototype all screens end-to-end in Figma and help developers in integration and execute design during development process.
Gathering information from clients, Understanding their requirement and create Prototypes, GUI or UI for the applications. Majorly worked on a web applications which is based upon School Management System, Telecom Applications, Big Data Applications. Creating screens for those application in a form of HTML pages and further work with server team for implementing those pages. Beside web application I am also involved in creating GUI for mobile applications and further work with mobile development team to provide them all the graphical aspects like icons, slicing of images, background gradients, etc.
Creating and Updating desktop sites, mobile sites, responsive websites, ad pages, landing pages, countdown pages using HTML, CSS, jQuery, jQuery UI, jQuery Mobile, Javascript. Creating device independent website using Bootstrap and Foundation. Communicating with clients, gathering and understanding project requirements, developing and implementing the project according to the client’s requirement and making necessary updates. Converting PSD/AI files into HTML. Testing websites on different device and browsers.
Create, Update and Maintain websites using HTML, CSS, jQuery and Javascripts. Create and Update Content Management Systems in PHP (Core). Maintaining internal tools for managing website structure, images and textual data using Content Management System. Work with Adobe Photoshop to integrate graphics on partner’s website. Assist with design efforts for site pages, content, photo galleries, video features, mobile WAP site and third party gadgets. Provide technical support for usability issues and critical site problems as needed.
